I am connecting SD card interface with AM5718. SD card is from te connectivity make , part number is 2201778-1 (datasheet attached).

can we use it with am5718

I am unable to see the datasheet for the SD card connector you are referencing. Could you please re-attach?

Have you been experiencing issues with the SD interface and/or connector itself already on your board, or are you just trying to clarify that components are correct to avoid issues?

I see no issue using this SD Card Cage with AM5718. One difference compared to the card cage used on TI's EVM is the card detect function. Typically the switch is closed when card inserted, open when card ejected. I think this card cage is reversed (open when inserted). Please verify, but that is my understanding of the data sheet. To align with TI's EVM and existing TI software, recommend have the SDCD signal pulled low by default (switch is open/card inserted) and connect to power supply when card is removed (switch is closed).
