Hi,
The kernel version of the linux 8.4 SDK is 5.10, which is quite different from the 4.19 kernel version.
Is there a virtual display device and dss write-back code, on the linux 8.4 SDK or latest kernel version?

Hi
The serializer output on our hardware is connected to the CSI-TX port.
In this case, how to develop a full display function in this case?
Need to support GPU development and UI development.
The R5 core control CSI-TX output shows that it has been ok.
hi xie jc,
But in this case, can you also use DSS M2M path from R5F? This is supported on R5F, but not supported on Linux/A72.

Brijesh
Hi xie jc,
ok, this will not be possible in the current implementation of DSS M2M path. But then only solution i have for you is you have to port this driver from previous release to later release.

Hi Brijesh,
Can you help see if this display scheme is ok?
QT/AVM --> Weston --> DRM --> DSS --> WB--> DSS --> CSI-TX -->DPHY-TX--> Serializer
If this solution is feasible, what references or reference links are available on TI's side?
Hi xie jc,
But there is no WB path on Linux, so it will not work.
