TDA4VM: HW Accelerators task execution control

Hi TI Team,

With the current SDK is there a possibility to have a control/management over the HW accelerators (GPU, DSP...). We would like to be able to interrupt running tasks/calculation, flush the HW accelerator and assign it another task/calculation (in case of detected task overruns, higher task /calculation priorities...) ?

    Hi Jakob,

    General response is that SDKs do not have a common control/mgmt framework for all of the HW accelerators on the TDA4VM device.

    That said depending on the H/W accelerator in question the SDK driver functionality may provides such functionality, or an existing SDK framework such as OpenVx could be used.
