AM6412: Linux SDK update plan

Part Number: AM6412

Hi

When AM64x silicon was updated from SR1.0 to SR2.0, Linux SDK was also changed to support new device (HSFS).
And the old version SDK and the new version SDK are not compatible (i.e. migration is required).
My customer is asking if such non compatible SDK updates are planned in the future or not.
I guess it is not likely as there is no further silicon update is planned.
Please confirm it.

Thanks and regards,

No , this was a one time effort  as we wanted to pivot to HSFS silicon by default.  We do not fore see such an issue in future for AM64 where there will be minor break in compatibility that happened with this change.
We will be deprecating support for SR1.0 GP, so please ensure your customer has the latest EVMs and looking at the latest software. We expect all customers to go to production with HSFS PG2.0.

Let us know if you have further questions.
    Regards
