AM3352: CCS Version 10.4.0: Lacking “TI XDS100v2 USB Emulator "option

Part Number: AM3352

Hi

Iam trying to create a target configuration file for AM3352 device (custom board) with CCS version 10.4.0.

We have been using TI XDS100v2 USB emulator to connect the device to CCS. in older versions of CCS ( CCS5 , CCS 6).

But currently installed version of CCS which is 10.4.0 i am not able to find the TI XDS100v2 USB Emulator option in the Connection drop down list.

How can I get that emulator option please?

  • Hello Anjana,

When I checked on CCS 12.1, I still see this connection option: "Texas Instruments XDS100v2 USB Debug Probe". Is that not showing up on your version of CCS?

If not, try re-running the CCS installation executable again. I believe there should be an option to select debugger packages to install. You can try installing additional packages to see if it shows up.

    Regards,

    Nick
