Hi,

So my question involves setting up my TMS320C5515 for programming. I am following Digital Spectrums "Quick Start Installation Guide", but am unable to figure out how to set the "New Target Configuration." The instructions state I have to use the DSK-EVM-eZdsp onboard USB emulator, and then select the EVM5515 device, but no EMV5515 devices are shown. I have downloaded the C55xx_csl file, and have moved around the .gel and XML files to what I thought were the correct directories but have still hit a dead end.

Any in-site on what is wrong with the software or where to appropriately put the drivers and correct files would really help.

Stefan,

When you first set the new target configuration, the Connection - "Spectrum Digital DSK-EVM-eZdsp onboard USB emulator", you should see EVM5515 on the Board or Device list. If you pick the DSK-EVM PLUS onboard USB emulator, you will not find the EVM5515. Below is a picture of my target configuration for the 5515 EVM.
