SK-AM62: Error while trying to flash example

Hi,

I am trying to flash an example in SK-AM62 based on https://software-dl.ti.com/mcu-plus-sdk/esd/AM62X/latest/exports/docs/api_guide_am62x/GETTING_STARTED_FLASH.html

I have also added the .appimage file in default_sbl_ospi_linux.cfg file.After that I tried to flash the configuration file via UART Boot mode, error is showing like below

I am also tried to generate the linuxapp image based https://software-dl.ti.com/mcu-plus-sdk/esd/AM62X/latest/exports/docs/api_guide_am62x/TOOLS_BOOT.html#LINUX_APPIMAGE_GEN_TOOL, then also error is showing.

Please suggest me a solution.

Hi Pragathi,

Please help me know if you just want to get started with running an example or you are looking to boot Linux along with an application on the board?

Hi Prashant,

I want to get started with running an example. I have loaded and run the example(Hello World example) using CCS as per the https://software-dl.ti.com/mcu-plus-sdk/esd/AM62X/latest/exports/docs/api_guide_am62x/GETTING_STARTED_FLASH.html

Now I want to flash the example application (Hello world). Then it showing the error , which is in the first image

Hi Pragathi,

Thank you for letting me know.

To get started with flashing an application for M4F core, you can comment the line in the .cfg that contains linux.appimage and flash all the other images. For reference, attached below is the .cfg file I used to flash and run the example.

/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/791/6521.default_5F00_sbl_5F00_ospi_5F00_linux.cfg

Before flashing, you will need to build and generate different .appimage required in the .cfg file.

Please note the sbl_ospi_linux still expects linux.appimage, however the absence of linux.appimage in the flash memory does not prevent the booting of application on M4F core. The sbl_ospi_linux just finish execution by reporting "Some tests have failed!!" which you can ignore.
