Below are the inputs from the expert and this issue seems tool specific.

I searched in our EDA database at TI but am not able to find the tool used internally.

One suggestion for the customer is to check with Teradyne on what is the latest version available and download it to check if it reads in our BSDL model correctly.

I tried searching online but am unable to find the latest version of the tool that Teradyne has available for download.

Sorry for bother again.

In past week, for this issue, customer checked the Teradyne tool which their ICT vendor is using is as below screenshot, and they think it is the latest version.

And, the most important thing is that,  they try to find another Teradyne development environment used by a customer's experienced develop engineer( the tool version is 4.0, not the latest version as above), and this guy got the same problem as ICT vendor saw, which once communicated with you.

And this senior engineer also suggests to check if BSDL files have some problem. But it is very difficult for end user to identify where the problem is.

So again, can you help to double check if original BSDL files is correct?

Due to customer's tight production arrangement in their factory, they just have time to test with your new file this morning.

After generating new test codes, they try the BSCN test, and the good news is that they can enter BSCN mode, and can read device ID as attached BSDL describes.

  attribute IDCODE_REGISTER     of AM64 : entity is

      "0001" &                            -- Version Number

      "1011101100111000" &                -- Part Number                         

      "00000010111" &                     -- Manufacturer ID

      "1";                                -- Required by IEEE

But for other tests, they still get fails as in attached picture.

Customer can’t take any debug actions now, could you please give me more comments？

Other customers were able to use the attached BSDL file.

Errors seems to be mentioning that the TAP pin is open.

Can you please confirm with customer if the JTAG interface has the required terminations as recommended in the data sheet pin connectivity table.
