TDA4VM: Unable to run c7x executable on board.

Hi Team,

We were able to build a sample c7x code using host emulation. The executable was copied to TDA4VM board. When we tried to run this executable on board, we got an error "cannot execute binary file: Exec format error". Screenshot of error is given below for a reference. Can you please share your opinion on how to resolve this error?

Hi Rohit,

You need to use the c7x compiler to build the binary for EVM. Host emulation is intended to mimic c7x instructions on an X86 machine.
Take a look at the following example in vision apps in the SDK on how to create a c7x application: Vision Apps User Guide: C7x Kernel Application
