GDR & AIR at H.264 Encoder

Hello

For the platinum H.264 version of the DM365 :

Is it correct that both GDR & AIR features can't work together at the same time ?

If so then what TI is recommending to use for correction of video quality problems like

Blockienss ,  Pixalization , etc . ?

Is it possible to move from AIR to GDR on the fly ?

Is it possible to change AIR parameter during scenario compression ?

Regarding LTR is this feature is mature already ?

Regards

Gideon

Yes both won't work same time. Need not work , because both meant for the same purpose(error resiliency).

Consider the case GDR duration is 5 and interval is 20. GDR refreshment will happen in 5 frames for remaining 15 frames AIR will run.

Normal use case for GDR or AIR in realtime, Encoder some how gets feedback as error occured in the network and system cannot offer I frame(bcz of large frame size). In that case GDR and AIR will help to refresh the frame gradually.

GDR and AIR features meant for error recovery, not for Pixalization  or blockiness.

Both GDR and AIR controls are runtime params, so you can turn ON or OFF independently.
