AM625: Industrail communication for IO-LINK

Hi,

We consider to use the AM64 for the IO-LINK master in our industrial communication solution;

The solution progress as below: PLC ------>AM64 ------>IO-Link slave;

Now because of the different communicate protocol for the PLC(Like as: Siemens use the Profinet, Keyence use the Ethernet/IP),

So we want to use the AM64 to transfom the other industrial protocol to IO-link( Profinet/ Ethernet/IP transform to IO-LINK protocol;

We know that TI supply the IO-LINK master API/ SMI based on the AM64;

Please kindly advise if TI support the protocol transformation in the AM64 SOC; thanks?

Does transformation here mean to have an gateway sort of things ?

Hi Ashwani,

We consider to us the AM64 to get the PLC Ethernet/IP or EtherCAT data and transform to IO-LINK protocol, and I don't serach any descripion in TI decoment, can you help to confirm, thanks?

EthernetIP <=> IOLink Gateway and Ethercat <=> IOLink Gateway is planned for 2Q23.
