AM3356: am335x filesystem UBIFS

Part Number: AM3356

Hi,

I am using the latest TI SDK 8.04, and I have a question related to UBIFS.

A partition originally created in ubifs format version 5 (SDK 8.04) is mounted as R/O when I downgrade to a software that only supports up to ubifs format version 4 (Earlier SDK version).

I am creating the partition on the board ad hoc. How can I solve this issue?

Is it possible to create a format version 4 partition while created over a board that its software is running format version 5?

Below is the error I am getting:

UBIFS error (ubi2:0 pid 207): 0xc038ca84: on-flash format version is w5/r0, but software only supports up to version w4/r0
(ubi2:0): only R/O mounting is possible

Regards,
