AM5729: OS BUILD ISSUE

Hi,

We are using AM5729 arm processor in our development. For testing purpose, we are using

TMDSIDK572 and

both Eval boards. We have tested with the Linux SDK sd card its working fine. Then we used Debian OS to boot the board with both boards(IDK and EVM).

We are able to load the boot in the idk board and getting debian console.

Whereas in EVM board, with the same debian sdk , its showing unable to find evm.dtb console message.

Can you please guide us the error cause and how to rectify to boot the os in evm eval board. I have shared both idk and evm console images.

Hello Thilak,

The only OS's that TI supports are SDK Linux, RTOS and LinuxRT as listed on this page https://www.ti.com/tool/PROCESSOR-SDK-AM57X.

That being said, do you have a specific Linux question?

Did you check that the file (am57xx-reva3.dtb) is under the folder where the bootloader is looking?

You could also stop at u-boot prompt and use command printenv to see if the it loads the right environment variables.
