TDA4VM: OSPI Register Definitions

Part Number: TDA4VM

Hello TI,

we are currently reviewing some of the register definitions that we want to use in our safety related project.

For OSPI we did find OSPI_CORE_MEM_* registers in the document J721E_registers4.pdf (Revision from March 2022) which are not described in the TRM document spruil1c.pdf.

Where can we find the description for these registers?

Thank you,

Regards,

Josef

  • Hi,

The OSPI_CORE_MEM is the memory location in the OSPI module, which is divided into two sections OSPI_CORE_MEM_LOW_Y and OSPI_CORE_MEM_HI_Y. We can calculate the offset using the formula provided in the TRM and later on can use this information for defining the register for OSPI_CORE_MEM.

    Best regards,
    Hasan
