TDA4VM: Boot without powering up the MCU

Hello.

I was trying to finf out if you can boot up the TDA4VM without powering up the MCU and boot via the MCU?

Couldnt figure it out from the TRM.

Hi Jorgen,

I don't believe that it is possible. Can you please explain your use case. Meanwhile, I'll loop in our SOC experts just to double check.

Jorgen,

The first boot should be a full power-up of both MCU and MAIN domains. You can optionally enter an MCU only mode after the initial power on.

Hi Kyle,

Just so I did understand it correct, you can not boot up the TDA4VM without powering up the MCU?

So if you just want to boot up the MAINS, that is not an option?
