TDA4VM: How R5F uses CPSW in MAIN Domain?

Part Number: TDA4VM

Hi,

Customer want to use the Internet (ETH) in the MAIN domain to make the R5F communicate with the A72. See the 9-port switch in the CPSW of the MAIN domain, can these ports be assigned to different processors (A72, R5F)? If this is possible, how can we do it?

  • Hi Nancy,

As requested by customer MAIN domain CPSW controlled by MAIN domain R5F, and It can communicate to A72 and other R5Fs.

TI has RTOS SDK (SDKR) and Linux SDK (SDKL) for TDA4VM, Using SDKR + SDKL above Use-case is available.

In MAIN R5F0 (MCU2_0) Ethernet Firmware is running as Ethernet server/master and other R5F's and A72 run as Ethernet clients with virtual interfaces.

Please refer to User Guide of Ethernet Firmware and SDK documentation for more details.

    Best Regards,
    Sudheer
