Hi，

Booting Via eMMC boot0 partition fails. For details, see 5.2.8.3. booting via eMMC boot0 partition on the Ti official website. The log is as follows:

After power-on MCU UART prints the following error log:

I hope you have a look at the above steps and logs to help us get eMMC booted from boot0.

Tip: The tifs.bin file is from <PDK> /packages/ti/drv/sciclient/soc/V1/tifs.bin

Hi,

Download from www.ti.com.cn/.../PROCESSOR-SDK-J721E ti - processor - SDK - rtos - j721e - evm entry - 08 _06_00_12. Tar. Gz and decompression, then open and browse the file rtos_j721e_evm-08_06_00_12\pdk_jacinto_08_06_00_31\docs\userguide\jacinto\boot\boot_k3.html, find the section 5.2.8.3. Booting Via eMMC BOOT0 partition, or search for "boot0".

The above are the steps I refer to the official website of Ti. Please help me solve this problem as soon as possible. It has been backlogged for a long time, which has affected the progress.

Hi Kong,

Can you please double check the sizes that you have given when flashing the images? This is a validated procedure and should work fine for the out-of-box SDK.

Also, have made any changes in the default SBL?

The same error occured during booting Via eMMC BOOT0 partition. The issue is solved by following steps.

1. make sbl_combined_bootimage_clean' in vision_apps/.

2. 'make sbl_emmc_boot0_img DISABLE_RECURSE_DEPS=no BOARD=j721e_evm CORE=mcu1_0 -s ' in ti/build/.

3. Replace sbl_emmc_boot0_img_mcu1_0_release.tiimage
