Hi team,

The customer has a physical address to store the image, which they want to import directly into the image for use. Is there such an interface that can enable the call? Similar to the tivxReferenceImportHandle and vxSwapImageHandle functions.

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Could you please elaborate what do you mean by physical address here? Is this an address in DDR_SHARED_MEM?

Is this created by dma-buf on A72?

Yes, it's the address in DDR_shared_MEM and is the address requested in tiovx to store the image.

If it is a dma-buf in the DDR_SHARED_MEM, you could use tivxReferenceImportHandle() itself right? May I know if this satisfies the usecase?

The parameter passed in by this function is a virtual address, and the address the customer want to pass in now is a physical address.

Hi Cherry,

Is the function called from A72 (Linux) or R5 (RTOS)?

If it is called from A72, it would be the virtual address as A72 would allocate the memory. Hence the input to the API is virtual address.

If it is called from R5, the input to API would be the physical address.

May I know the usecase here?
