AM625: MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM62X git repository

Part Number: AM625

The installer (mcu_plus_sdk_am62x_08_06_00_18-linux-x64-installer.run) for the MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM62X can be downloaded from here: https://www.ti.com/tool/download/MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM62X/08.06.00.18

We need to modify the SDK to support our board and make it publicly available to our customers. I have two questions:

  1. Is a git repository available for the SDK, or any of the source code used by the SDK?
  2. If there is no git repository:
    1. Why is the SDK provided as a binary installer?
    2. Is it acceptable for us to create our own public git repository? Are there any licensing concerns from TI?

Thanks, Nate
