USB issues on AM37X EVM

Dear All,

We are using the TI Sitara AM37X Evaluation Module (EVM) Sitara (Win CE 6.0 R3)from Mistral for developing a handheld device.

The kit locks up and the screen goes dark while copying files from a USB memory stick to the Windows Desktop folder.

Also during the process  the touch panel stopped responding .

The only way to recover from this was to power off then power back on.

Please let me know if anyone experienced similar issues and any possible solutions?

    Jithendran,

    I am able to copy files from USB stick to desktop folder and dont have issues with the touchscreen during the copy process. I dont see any issues with usb stick connected to EHCI port or OTG port. Could you provide more details about what else is connected to the USB port which you are using as well as information about how many files of what size? Do you see the issue with only one type of memory stick? Also, are you using the TI BSP or is this a customized BSP? My observations are based on the latest ce6 BSP available from TI.
