Our customer wants to use X5R instead of X7R used in EVM, for smaller size. Coud you share TI suggestion about that? Thanks.

    The difference between X5R and X7R is the temperature rating/performance of the capacitor.  The selected capacitor would be dependent on the end products temperature environment, and thus TI cannot comment.  In general - as capacitors supported temperature range changes - so can its performance (its capacity).  Designers need to make sure the capacity changes (from temperature) do not affect the design performance.
