hi,

I am using AM3517 custom board.

Booting is from MMC1 and i am using uart3. the board will boot up and stops in bootloader but i am not able to give the input to the processor that means when i type any character in the serial console some junk characters will appear but when i probed and checked the UART3_RX signal will come for UART3_RX_IRRX (P1).

i am using teraterm-4.66 and baud rate is 115200 with one stop bit.

while booting the messing or comming properly that means processor is sending properly.

Hi Srikanth,

Can you check your serial cable? If I am not wrong it should be NULL Modem cable. I remember coming across similar issue some time back and the issue was with serial cable.

I have checked the serial cable it is proper but the problem is still there.

in addition to above post ,

i have the uart test file from logic PD i have tested. Test is passed but when we looked into the code the there we are doing only transmission test. so is there any code to check reception also? please help me in this regard as soon as possible.
