DM8148 Updated Documentation

Is any new documentation for the DM8148 available since March when the current datasheet was released? I'm looking for info on:

 

  • Analog supply bypassing (an EVM schematic would be very helpful here. I read about a Mistral EVM, but I can't find any info on it. Would someone be able to post the schematics and layout?)
  • Video input port capabilities, I'm looking to be able to input low resolution video at high frame rates
  • HDVICP2 detailed info/manual
  • Device power consumption

    • Video input port capabilities, I'm looking to be able to input low resolution video at high frame rates.  For the Video IN capabilities, both VIN ports are capable to support up to 24 bit 165MHz data 1920x1200 format, so if the data is not over the above limitation, it should be fine.
    • HDVICP2 detailed info/manual. This is part of codec release, will not be part of TRM.
    • Device power consumption.  Actual power measurement & analysis is in progress, however, we have estimates available. Please contact local FAE for details.

    Is there a way to get a higher resolution image uploaded to the davinci as an 8bit BW format using the VIN port.  Can you pack the RGB888 with 3 BW pixels and upload to DDR for the DSP to process.  I want to upload a 3600x1600 image but only need BW pixels for processing.
