Hi, experts,

Customers feedback there is no V4L2 demo on TDA4VH SDK 8.5. Is it possible to provide some V4L2 demos?

They tried to porting videnc-test-app frfom TDA4VM, but found many commands were not supported, and the encoding can not be performed normally.

Hi Fan,

In the 8.6 release of the SDK for TDA4VH we have some GStreamer-based V4L2 codec related demos. Codec hardware/software is different between TDA4VM and TDA4VH, which is most likely why the test application from TDA4VM did not work on TDA4VH.

Below E2E descripts problem encountered while customers trying to porting videnc-test-app to TDA4VH.

Fan,

There is no standalone or baremetal example to exercise the TDA4VH Linux codec.

The only option for Linux is to use the GStreamer as mentioned in the SDK.
