I successfully compiled gingerbread for BEagleBoardXm RevC. It works quite well, It plays , Sintel .mp4 file , but i feel little frame drop , i didnt see any errors on logcat. everythings looks fine. Another hand, i try to play serenity demo mp4 file. i saw a lot of frame-drops and no errors on logcat too.

Diffrences between two file ,

Serenity,mp4 , 1280x720 , 4.8 Mbit/s data-rate.

Sintel.mp4 1280x544 , 1.8 Mbit/s data-rate

Anyone have any idea for this problem , Thanks.

4.8Mbps is over the capability of H.264 decoding on DM3730, it only supports up to 4Mbps@24fps.

1) set 'setprop debug.video.showfps 1' from serial console or adb shell before play the video to enable FPS print-out, you will see the FPS number while video playback, check if there is any framedrop.

2) make sure to use SanDisk SD card, at least class4, other brands are known having performance issue.

3) Sintel clip is 24fps, but normally the display is 30fps or 60fps, so you probably are seeing the 24fps -> 60fps conversion effect, which looks like framedrop.

The problem is FPS , when i convert 30 fps , everything works fine.
