I have a tmdxoskl138 EVM which is the L138/C6748 development kit that I would like to test the ads1606 evm with. Does the 5-6K interface module allow me to connect the two evm modules together?

Randy,
You can see in the document http://www.ti.com/litv/pdf/slau104a that:
"The 5−6K Interface Board provides a complete system development platform using evaluation modules from the Data Acquisition Products Group. This board passes signals from TMS320C5000 and TMS320C6000 Interface (SPRA711)"Daughtercard connectors defined in the TMS320 Cross-Platform daughtercardDSK platforms featuring the 80-pin"
The OMAP-L138 EVM does not have the 80-pin conector, so you would need to do a lot of adaptations. For the OMAP-L138 schematics, please click on the links below. Click on the Kit Contents or Tech Specs tab, and scroll down to Hardware Documents and Design Files

You do not need to have a board to get the schematics, just to have an account at the LogicPD website.
