Hi team,

Here's an issue from the customer may need your help:

After running Linux and the file system on A72, run the R5, C7X, C66X firmware in it. For example, VX_app_RTOS_Linux_mcu2_1.out, is it running its own RTOS and application on MCU2? Or is this .out file just an application on MCU2, and the RTOS system of MCU2 is already running with Linux?

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

I am not sure if I am understanding the question correctly, can you please elaborate?
Generally, the remote cores (Non A72) runs RTOS applications for specific real time application.

Please let me elaborate on the case here:

Does the RTOS follow the boot of the Linux system and then boot? Or follow the firmware application of R5, C7X, C66X in Linux system to boot?

That is, once an application of R5, or C7X, or C66X is started, RTOS starts first, then starts R5, or C7X, or C66X applications.

If it's the second case, is the RTOS one for each core, using the respective RTOS system? For example, an application running one R5, one C7X, one C66X, does the three applications run on three different RTOS systems. Or is it sharing an RTOS?
