Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TDA4VH
Hi team,
Here's an issue from the customer may need your help:
The TDA4VH has 4Lane's PCIe and 4Lane's DP, but USB3.0's IO ports will take up either DP or PCIe's two lanes. This means that if you want to use USB3.0 you must trim 2Lane from either PCIe or DP.
EVM board is a cut PCIe, 4LaneDP or USB3.0 is used when selecting through 0R resistor. Customer application requires PCIe mounted SSD and DP can accept two lanes. Can the current SDK for TDA4VH support DP for two lanes?
If they want to make a full-featured type-C, that is, USB3.0 and DP in the same TypeC, the DP must be two lanes. Could you help share the drive?
Thanks.
Best Regards,
Cherry
