TDA4VM: CPU usage increases when baseline upgrade from 8.2 to 8.6

Dear TI expert,

  When we upgrade the baseline from 8.2 to 8.6 on TDA4VM platform,  the CPU usage of all applications using camera have increased.
  Taking an application that uses camera as shown in the picture.

  we can see, the same applicaiton has 5% cpu  in 8.2 version, vs 18.6% in 8.6 version


I want to know what is causing this problem.

Please help or try to give some ideas how to solve this.

    Hi,

    May I know if you are facing this issue in the SDK demos provided?

    Are there any additional changes done in the SDK (Memory related, Linux kernel configs etc) or are you seeing this on the raw SDK downloaded from ti.com?

    Is there anything running on A72 apart from the application?

    Could you please let me know if there is specific vision_apps demo that you are referring to so that I could try to reproduce the same at my end too?
