TDA4VM: CSI channel and VC channel configuration

Part Number: TDA4VM

Hi team,

The customer added the appropriate camera drive and ran the vx_app_single_cam.sh script to test the image, and it reported the error as follows:

“VX_ZONE_WARNING:[tivxCaptureSetTimeout:796]  CAPTURE: WARNING: Error frame not provided using tivxCaptureRegisterErrorFrame, defaulting to waiting forever !!!”

Data Link:

Max9295-> max9296-> CSI1-> VC0

Access the serial deserializer, and video data has arrived at the deserializer and is output to the CSI channel.

1)  How to troubleshoot the problem? Is there a script or tool availble to view CSI entry data?

2) How is the mapping between CSI channel configuration and video channel? In which file path is the configuration code located?

Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry

  • Hi Cherry,

May I know which SDK version is the customer facing this issue?

Could you please share the full logs after enabling the remote core logs too (i.e., source ./vision_apps_init.sh)?

“VX_ZONE_WARNING:[tivxCaptureSetTimeout:796]  CAPTURE: WARNING: Error frame not provided using tivxCaptureRegisterErrorFrame, defaulting to waiting forever !!!”

This is just a warning when the error frame is not provided. This should not affect the output.

The CSI channel configuration is available in the application source code single camera application present in ${PSDKRA}/vision_apps/apps/basic_demos/app_single_cam

By connecting CCS, can the customer check the state of MCU2_0? (Aborted or hanged at a point) or is A72 hanged?

    Regards,
    Nikhil
