What is OpenMAX "dc" component?

Guru 10685 points

I'm trying to write my own script for the OMTB by copying the dual_display_decode_encode_nopause.oms script that comes with EZSDK 5.01.01.80 for the DM8168.

I have 3 questions:

1) In that script, what is OpenMAX "dc" component?

2) Is there any good documentation for the OMTB scripts? The decode demo for the DM6467T had its own PDF explaining how the demo worked, for instance.

3) What does the "nopause" refer to? The only difference I can see between the nopause and the normal script is that the former works, while the latter attempts to do something with ALSA audio but fails.

Thanks,
Ralph
