DM505: EOL Concern

Hi Team,

Can you confirm the DM505 and TDA3 are both in active production? Are either of these approaching EOL? There is some confusion on our end as to whether or not the TDA3 will be the successor to the DM505.

    Hi Connor,

    TDA3 and DM505L are from the same device variants so TDA3 is not a successor to DM505.

    There is no active SW development on either TDA3 or DM505 since the support from TI team would be very limited.

    For new design, we recommend customers to check out Jacinto 7 device family or Sitara MPU AM6x devices.
