TDA4VE-Q1: TDA4VE-Q1:

Part Number: TDA4VE-Q1

Hello ,

We have 2 products ( 2 different HW designs ) using TDA4 Family (J721S2 TDA4VE TDA4AL ) .

First one is based on TDA4AL and using voltages level 3.3v. The second one is based on TDA4VE using voltage level 1.8v. We succeeded in the first product (TDA4AL 3.3v) to boot the the R5_MCU using JTAG connection to ISYSTEM (IC 5000) debugger. We are using a compatible Winidea version and we are able to fully debug the processor.
But in the second product (TDA4VE 1.8v) we are not able to boot the R5_MCU with JTAG and still we don't know if it boots or not even without JTAG. We are still in HW bring up phase. However we are having the same boot mode pins configurations in both products and same JTAG pins configurations.

One of the questions , Will the voltage levels (1.8 v vs 3.3v ) affect the booting sequence ?

Or is there more restrictions needed to be considered to boot or power up the cores while using 1.8v ?

Is there any difference in boot sequence between ( DA4VE   and  TDA4AL) ?
