I’ve got a question related to the VPAC3L in the TDA4 Entry.
Please, confirm if the ISP can work properly with an HDR 20bit image which is composed (stitched to HDR image) at the sensor site and then companded (compressed) to 16bits via 12 PWL knee points.
In other words, the linear RAW domain is 20bits, then it is compressed to 16bits and all of this is done at the sensor. Hence, the ISP has to de-compand the image back to 20 bits via 12 PWL knee points and process the image (at least until another internal compression) in the 20bit space.
Is the TDA4 Entry capable to work with that HDR image?
