TMS320C5532: Required memory for AEC

Hi,

According to the original thread (above link), C5532 with 64kB DARAM would be enough for AEC.
But the AER_Fact_Sheet.pdf attached the thread says required memory is 55kB of Program plus 55kB(16kB+39kB) of Data, total 110kB.

I am afraid C5532 is not enough. At least C5533 seems to be required. Please double check it.

Hi Koichiro-san,

Yes, the C5532 has only 64KB DARAM (dual port), but it also has 256KB SARAM (single port), the total memory is 320KB. It should be enough memory to run the AEC code.

Could you double check the memory size in C5532?
Table 3-1 in datasheet shows only 64kB total.

You are correct. In that case, you may need C5533 or C5534 to support AER.
