Duplicate C64x+ memory addresses?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320DM6437

Hi,

I would like to ask a question on DM6437’s memory map.

On page 14 of sprs345d, TMS320DM6437 Digital Media Processor, why for each of the same unique objects (boot ROM,  L1P, L1D, L2, etc.), there are two duplicate addresses associated? The address difference between elements of each pair is 0x1000 0000, and CCS memory view shows each lower address in the pair has no viewable content, probably indicating that the address in invalid.

Question 1:

So why does the duplicate address come from?

Question 2:

Duplicate addresses only exist in the column for “C64x+ memory map”, not for VPSS, EDMA or PCI memory. What is the reason for this?
