Dear All,

I am using the C6747 (OMAP L137/C6747 Starter Kit) to communicate to an external board using the I2C interface.

The I2C0_SDA and I2C0_SCL signals are connected to pins 5 and 7 of the P11 Expansion Connector. What is the best way to physically connect to these pins? Is there an adapter or connector for this purpose?

This might be a good solution for you to be able to access the signals.

Dear Mariana,

Many thanks for your answer. The prototyping board should indeed be very usefull as it seems to have the same connector as the P11 of the OMAP L137 EVM. However, I would still need to connect the two boards with a cable, right? Do you happen to know the name of the P11 (male/female) connector to order a cable for this purpose?

The full Bill of Materials for the OMAP-L137 EVM can be found on Spectrum Digital's site here.

The prototype board is handy in that you can solder on pin headers and access every pin of P11, P12 and P13. For something like an I2C device which operates at very low speeds you could blue wire a connection between these pin headers and the I2C device with that prototype board.

I have attached the DVB-T frontend to the I2C bus of the OMAP-L137 EVM. I need to configure the I2C bus to run at 400KHz to communicate to frontend. I am running Montavista linux. I would appreciate your guide to configure the I2C bus.
