AM3505 and EtherCAT Slave

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3517, AM3505

Hi,

According the TI press, the Sitara processor will be featuring with EtherCAT technology in Q4 2011

It is stated in the following link that EtherCAT master protocol can be executed on AM3517 already.

My question is:

How about AM3505? Will it be possible to support EtherCAT slave program on AM3505 in the future?

Also I would appreciate it that some one could send me some details on this issue.

Thanks :-)

Matt
