Hi All

Apologies for the partial posted message earlier on this subject (had problems with cookies ..:)

Trying to migrate a CCS3.3/XP/EVM based project to CCS4.2/windows 7/eXperimenter.

The sample BSP projects appear to work OK on the eXperimenter but when I try to build the "Import legacy CCS3.3 project" get a number of errors which are usually resolved by adding appropriate include paths.

However when looking for a _hal_cache.h file path the only instances of this file are contained in directories (../dsplink/dsp/src/base/hal/DspBios/<directories>) where the directory names are not an obvious match for the eXperimenter (the listed directories are DM648, DM6437, OMAP3530 ...)

Have I missed a step in my installation that may cause this ? If so is there a way to correct the issue without risking corrupting the already installed software packages ?

Hi Barry,

To make sure you have your environment properly configured for DSP/BIOS, follow the instructions here: http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/bios/dspbios/5_41_10_36/exports/docs/docs/SetupGuide_CCSv4.html

Also, what sample in particular are you trying to import?
