Hi,
Looking at both TPS6593-Q1 and TPS65219 PMIC's for AM62A31.
Which one would you recommend and why?
It is not an Automotive end product.
Many thanks
Jorgen

Hello Jorgen,
Thank you for the query.
TPS6593-Q1
We have the EVMs with this PMIC. Given the current and the availability of supply rails for VPP, capability to program 0.75/0.85V core voltage this could be considered.
I am not sure if we have any plans on having a board with the TPS65219 PMIC.
Is there a reason for considering the TPS65219 for the AM62A?

Sreenivasa
Hello Sreenivsa,
TPS65219 is a third of the price as a starting point and the TPS6593-Q1 is an Automotive version, which is not needed in industrial applications. The TPS65219 is also in production.
Do you see any reason not to use the TPS65219?
Best regards
Jorgen
Hello Jorgen,
Thank you.
Do you see any reason not to use the TPS65219?
I am not sure if TPS65219. can support the 62A current requirement.
The 62A EVMs are based on TPS6593 and Am62A has been tested with TPS6593 PMIC interfaced.
