PSP4.00.00.09: auido capture driver problem with 16-bit input - left channel and right channel is swapped

Hi,

My customer found there is capture problem with 16-bit input for mcasp audio driver in stereo mode. The left channel and right channel is swapped. But if using 32-bit input and change the driver configuration to 32 bit, then everything is ok.

Would you pls kindly check if there is something missed?

more detail: cpu is Ti DM8168. use asp2

Pls find more info below.

1. Customer has tested the reproduced the problem on DM8168 EVM. AIC3106 works as master to provide the clock and frame sync. Mcasp works as slave.

2. The swap is always there for 16-bit input.

32bits working ok:

./audloop.out -w 32

16bits working swaped:

./audloop.out -w 16
