AM6442: Errata i2184/i2185/i2208

Hi,

I have a question for below three CPSW errata from my customer.

i2184 CPSW: IET express traffic policing issue
i2185 CPSW: Policer color marking issue
i2208 CPSW: ALE IET Express Packet Drops

It is not clear whether workaround is implemented in SDK8.6.
Suppose users setup environment based on AM64x EVM and the SDK, below commands cause these errata behaviors?

# > dhcp eth0
# > scp /boot/Image linux@192.168.20.188:~/
# > ping 192.168.20.50

If the answer is "NO", what makes these errata happen?

Hi,

The errata refer to IET configurations of the CPSW. To enable IET features the user must use the ethtool commands for configuration. This documentation link shows how to enable the IET feature.

The commands you have list are basic networking commands and would not make the errata happen.
