PROCESSOR-SDK-J784S4: Code Composer Connect to Target - stuck initialising DDR

I'm trying to debug on the J784s4 having following the setup instructions in the SDK (psdk_rtos/docs/user_guide/ccs_setup_j784s4.html).

However when I run the launch.js script, it gets stuck initialising DDR in J7_LPDDR4_Config_Late() and never finishes.

I believe the Lauterbach scripts manage to get past the equivalent stage fine.

Do you have any suggestions?

Hi,

This is mostly due to the wrong gel file linked.
Can you please check which gel file is linked to M4 core and share?

Hi,

I have independently followed the instructions in https://software-dl.ti.com/jacinto7/esd/processor-sdk-rtos-j784s4/08_06_01_03/exports/docs/psdk_rtos/docs/user_guide/ccs_setup_j784s4.html#debugging-without-hlos-running-on-a72-rtos-only-baremetal and am encountering the same problem.

The gel is configured as below

Yes, those are the same instructions that I followed (and the same gel file)

Hi,

Can you please try linking J7AHP_SI.gel available on same path? I believe there is a bug in documentation. I have already raised this internally, it should be fixed soon.
