Communication between C6713 and F2812 DSPs

To all,

I am looking for any information on interfacing two TI DSPs together to exchange data. The first is a TMS320C6713 floating point DSP which uses an HPI interface. The second is a TMS320F2812 fixed point DSP which uses an XINTF port (19bit address bus, 16 bit data bus, control signals). Has anyone done this before? Are there any existing TI libraries or protocols which might help me get started? Any information would greatly be appreciated.

I think there are a couple options for interfacing those devices.

HPI/XINTF connection. You might want to check out the app note TMS320C6000 EMIF to TMS320C6000 Host Port Interface for more info. It should be very similar to the hookup for XINTF. Note that with this topology the F2812 would be the "master". That is, it would initiate reads and writes to the 6713. The 6713 could not directly read/write from the 2812.
McBSP to McBSP connection. You might consult the app note TMS320C6000 McBSP as a TDM Highway for tips.
