Hi Dear,

There are some current monitoring devices  in the reference design of AM62. As shown below, INA231 is used to detect current.

Do these circuits have any special function? Can I delete it?

    On the custom board you can delete the INA.

    I would be good to provision for the shunt resistor in the initial prototype.

    You can replace the 4 terminal shunt with a 2 terminal shunt.

    I would recommend connecting 2 test points across the shunt. Use kelvin current sensing approach for connecting the TP.
