Hi team,

SDK: ti-processor-sdk-linux-j7-evm-08_05_00_08 + ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-08_05_00_11

Application scenario: Max96724, 4 camera CSI_RX input -- this section is turned on. According to the manual, CSI_TX can receive data in memory through stream0, as shown in the following figure:

4-way camera images received by CSI_RX are fused in memory through a node and then output to CSI_TX (4-way image resolution reduced, 1080p resolution combined). Is this approach possible? And is there a routine available for reference from stream0 input and then from CSI_TX output?

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Hi Cherry,

Yes, this is feasible, CSITX can read images from memory for 1920x1080 resolution and can send it out. I dont think there is any sample example available for the exact usecase, but you use two example, multi-camera for CSIRX -> ISP -> Mosaic path and for CSITX, you can refer to example in ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-08_06_00_12\tiovx\kernels_j7\hwa\test\test_csitx_csirx.c file.

How to initialize tda4 CSI TX only enable input from stream0? Which registers need to be configured?

Hi Cherry,

The current driver supports stream0, so please use either PDK driver or OpenVX CSITX node to configure stream0.
