We're looking to start testing/developing for a video analytics application, probably using both 8167 chips for server work and 8147 chips for embedded analytics at site. I have a couple of questions relating to this:
1: How easy would it be to run a scaled down (ie fewer channels) version of the same code on the 8147? Would we have to run two code-bases or could we simply reduce the number of channels?
2: I've been looking at the 8168 test board here: http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/tmdxevm8168.html Is there an 814x test board, as well? Or is it possible to "scale down" this board to perform like an 8147?
