AM6421: Can 2 x PRP/HSR protocols run on one AM6421 device?

Dear Champs,

Could you please check if 2 x PRP or HSR protocol run on one AM6421 device?

My customer wants to implement 2 PRP or HSR system on one AM6421 through 4 x ICSS ethernet ports.

e.g. 4 x ICSS ethernet for PRP or HSR, and 1 x CPSW ethernet for public ethernet. Could you please check if this is possible?

Hi Sung-IL,

This has not been tested from our side as on GPEVM, we do not have enough ports to support this use-case.

It is being furthur looked into if it is possible through HSR driver.

Hi Sung-IL,

I do not see any hard coding from driver side, so you can try out the 2 PRP or HSR systems using the AM64 device. After configuring the application to work with ICSSG0 you should be able to use it.
