OMAP35x I2C4 HS Mode AC Timing Eratta

Hi,

In OMAP35xx Silicon Eratta(SPRZ278F), There is a errata, Advisory 3.1.1.188 " I2C4 Does Not Meet I2C Standard AC Timing in FS Mode".

My customer pointed out the similar phenomenon in HS Mode.
I2C4_SDA hold time is longer than expected, then the standard AC timing "tHD:DAT" in HS mode is not met.

Is there any workaround?

There was no workaround in the original errata, so i don't think there would be one in this case. It was deemed that this error did not cause any issues when communicating with the PMIC. Unless the customer is seeing a functional issue, i don't think he would need a workaround.

And I'd like to ask you to check if TI have known this case: the standard AC timing "tHD:DAT" in HS mode is not met.
If not, could you please ask a TIer to mesure the case using oscilloscope.

We have several customers using this at high speed and do not have any instances of failures.
