I have tried it without any gel files, as described in the Loading Uboot through CCS.

I have quite a similar problem like this:

Is there any guide about how to load U-Boot through CCS to AM64x?

Hi Istvan,

We do not have good documentation for debugging on AM64x. I recommend the following process.

Rebuild U-boot for AM64x. But in the following file:

<path-to-u-boot>/arch/arm/mach-k3/am642_init.c and in the following function:

void board_init_f(ulong dummy)

add a while loop that is gated by a CONFIG option depending on what core you are trying to debug.

If you want to debug at a53 stage add:

#ifdef CONFIG_ARM64
 //while loop
#endif

Then you can start CCS, attach to the A53 core, and jump to PC+1 to break out of while loop and start debugging A53 SPL on A53 core.
